Medication Use Safety
The Medication Safety Fellowship is a two-year, learning-based program designed to train pharmacists for careers in health-systems, government, the pharmaceutical industry, and academia. One position is available for the 2018-2020 cycle. The fellow will transition between the Pharmacovigilance and Global Patient Safety department at Eli Lilly and Company, Purdue University College of Pharmacy’s Center for Medication Safety Advancement (CMSA), and the Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology at the FDA. The fellow will have various educational experiences in cross-functional departments and have the opportunity to publish articles, present at local and national meetings, and work on projects relating to medication safety in a variety of exciting professional settings.
