Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE), the largest auxiliary organization at Stanford University, supports the academic mission of the University by providing the highest quality services to students and other members of the university community. ABOUT MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS & CAPITAL PROJECTS (MCP)
This division supports all R&DE operations and provides strong stewardship of its facilities by delivering daily and preventive maintenance, executing 50-year asset renewal model, managing design and construction of capital and other essential projects, infusing sustainability, safeguarding occupational health and safety, monitoring life-safety systems and after-hours security, overseeing furnishings/fixtures and parts inventory, administering move services and the fleet, managing utilities and waste, ensuring emergency preparedness and business continuity, and providing space and property administration.
Administer and support programs or functions under general supervision.
Performs prompt, effective customer service and follow-up on any and all issues including work scheduling. As a member of the management team is essential in collecting and assessing customer feedback, goals setting, considering operational alternatives and process changes.
Manages all compliance logs (vehicle, master key, work orders, staff training, compliance, P-card purchases, expenses, etc.) and resolve all discrepancies.
Provides oversight and maintenance of extensive file system and databases related to projects for 350 buildings, over 100 topics, and the repository of building information to be used by any group within Residential and Dining Enterprises
Prepares meetings (and other events as needed) by developing the agenda, assembling and distributing materials and making necessary arrangements and logistics for the event.
Manages calendars and travels using judgment to prioritize meetings and commit the two Associate Directors' time, often coordinating with other R&DE and Stanford administrative staff on Associate Director's schedule and other matters.
Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities of the unit, function or program. Act as key contact.
Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.
Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise and implement procedures for program or function.
Represent the program or function within the department, unit or school. May also represent the program or function to external constituencies.
Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include communications, events, training, and/or conferences. May participate in development of budgets or oversee budgets and monitor and approve expenditures.
May direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. May also supervise staff.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
