As a private teaching facility we coordinate care with private OB/GYN, MFM faculty, resident physicians and certified nurse midwives. Summary of Essential Job Duties: Clinical Nurse II assumes the responsibility and accountability of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. Clinical Nurse II makes clinical judgments and carries out related nursing interventions using the nursing process without supervision. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks, documentation. Coordinates care for the patient and delivery team. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectation of patients and health care colleagues.
Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements: BSN preferred License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Valid California Registered Nurse License BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association, NRP, Advanced EFM and intravenous therapy.
