Analyzes credit information on current and potential borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assists loan officers in writing loan requests; assists loan review in analyzing complex credit relationships, provides assistance in administration of commercial borrowing accounts; promotes business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations.
Provides accurate, sound and adequate information and technical advice to commercial lenders by gathering data and evaluation of prospective customers.
Completes financial statement analysis including ratio and historical analysis on existing and potential customers of the bank, including the periodic construction of pro-formas and use the projections on the account.
Compiles data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, performs cash flow analyses and other tasks and comparisons.
Analyzes bank’s loan portfolio to provide management with data needed to administer loan function such as concentration analysis, interest rates, and risk sensitivity.
Monitors credit quality of existing loan portfolio; anticipate opportunities and problems. Brings significant problems to the attention of the loan officer wit recommendations for remedial action.
Completes the preparation of the analyses and special reports regarding existing loans as applications for credit arrangements.
Visits customers and prospects as required with lenders. Advises lenders as necessary.
Attends officer, executive and directors loan committee meetings.
Attends training programs and seminars to enhance skills and to keep abreast of changes or trends that might affect bank activities.
Supports loan decisions, portfolio risk assessments and monitor credit quality of loans.
Complies with all laws and regulations, both State and Federal that govern the operations of the Bank and its subsidiaries.
Keeps the document exceptions list current weekly and update as new exceptions are obtained.
Participates in community projects and Bank functions when called upon.
