The successful candidate for the Contracts Manager position will play a key role in providing direct support to our various federal government support services divisions. This person will be responsible for “Cradle to Grave” engagement on a variety of government contracts and subcontracts.
Support development of proposals and business development activities
Prepare proposal documents to ensure compliance with regulations, directives, laws, statutes, and contracting policies as well as compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements.
Develop and edit spreadsheet pricing models.
Provide contract administration during contract performance. Administer, issue, review, and execute Contracts, Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, Consultant Agreements, etc.
Evaluate contract and/or subcontract awards and modifications, identify risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation to management.
Coordinate contractual obligations and new or changed requirements with technical teams.
Support contract closeout and final billing
Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of contract administration/management experience.
Professional Certification a plus
In-depth knowledge of Government Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR/etc.).
Experience managing fixed price, time & materials, and cost plus fixed fee contracts.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to directly and professionally interact and negotiate with government acquisitions personnel, prime customers and teaming partner personnel.
Proven negotiation skills.
Proven leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to mentor, manage, and train staff.
Demonstrated ability to identify issues and problems on assigned contracts and make independent recommendations to direct supervisor(s), program staff, and business unit management.
Must be proficient with Excel and WORD.
Excellent time management skills. Capable of managing multiple priorities and short deadlines.
Only candidates who possess an active Top Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation within the last six years will be considered
SCI Eligibility a plus
Experience with cleared DoD and Intel agencies preferred
