COFI Product Management manages the full suite of investment products that are distributed through our online brokerage, National Advice Call Center and Financial Advisors network.
The Senior Manager, Investment Analysis will provide support to the Head of Product Management and the Senior Manager Financial Analysis in managing and expanding the firm’s model portfolios. This role will be critical in supporting the development and execution of the go-forward product strategy to support the growth of Capital One’s investing business. The Senior Manager, Investment Analysis will assist with tasks related to portfolio management, product due diligence, product distribution, sales and training support, new product development, ongoing product management and establishing business requirements for digital investing tools.
Provide support in product strategy development and execution including, but not limited to manufacturer and product research, management of product features, product marketing and sales support.
Own and/or support the construction, ongoing management and expansion of the firm’s model portfolios, including the use of optimization and modeling tools.
Initiate and/or support the development of research materials, calculate model portfolio returns and conduct attribution analysis.
Collect and integrate economic data and initiate and/or support the development of market and economic commentaries.
Support the Capital One Advisors Investment Committee which has responsibility for setting overall policy and investment strategy for Capital One Advisors.
Maintain internal process and procedural documents.
Support marketing and product material review between partners and COFI Product Management (i.e. Compliance and Operations).
Participate in or lead special projects related to these duties or overall product management priorities
Prepare materials that may be used in Financial Advisor training related to the firm’s model portfolios.
Collaborate with Compliance, Operations and M&A to conduct initial and ongoing product reviews to identify and help resolve potential problems and weaknesses (i.e. fee calculations, trading, rebalancing etc).
Coordinate with Compliance to draft, review and amend compliance policies and procedures relating to investment advisory products and services, especially the firm’s model portfolios
Job Requirements :
Excellent understanding of the wealth management business
Ability to successfully create processes that can be effectively implemented within that structure
Extensive investment management and financial planning knowledge
Proactive understanding and knowledge of investment and advisory products
Strategic thinking with ability to execute action steps and problem resolution
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 7 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically brokerage or investment experience
At least 3 years of experience in investment management and/or portfolio management investments
Experience with Microsoft Office software including proficiency in Excel
FINRA Series 7 license
FINRA Series 65 or 66 license
