Jackson Thornton is seeking an experienced CPA/auditor with a passion for providing excellent client service as well as experience in state and local government audits. The position is based in the firm’s Montgomery, AL office and will require some travel. (Relocation assistance provided.)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Current CPA in Alabama
Minimum of three years of progressive professional Audit experience
Prior experience with state and local government audits
Prior in-charge experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with both internal and external clients
Good time management skills and the ability to meet strict time/budget guidelines
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to commute to client locations (including occasional overnight travel)
