An international consulting firm headquartered in Northern VA is seeking qualified full-time and part-time Board-Certified Industrial Hygienists who will develop curricula and provide training to law enforcement and government personnel in how to safely and effectively dismantle different types of clandestine drug labs and how to safely work in other illicit hazardous environments. Although a majority of training will be conducted within the continental United States, candidates must be able to meet physical demands to deploy worldwide to support mission requirements as needed.
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Must be a board-certified industrial hygienist
Must possess a BA or BS degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Toxicology and/or Industrial Hygiene
At least 10 years’ experience in clandestine lab hazardous waste operations or clandestine lab processing
Possess working knowledge of DOT and EPA regulatory standards for clandestine lab hazardous waste disposal
Possess experience in industrial hygiene program development and implementation, environmental compliance program audits, OSHA-mandated employee training, and indoor air quality assessments
Possess excellent oral and written English communication skills
Must be US or naturalized citizen eligible able to pass extensive criminal, medical and financial background checks
In addition to these minimum qualifications, ideal candidates will possess a law enforcement background with at least 5 years’ serving in local, state or government law enforcement communities.
