Serve as a Neonatal-Perinatal Pediatrician in Director Medical Services, Pediatrics, Pediatric Subspecialties, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. The purpose of the position is to provide care for patients admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care units at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Camp Lejeune, NC and Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Serving as a physician managing a full range of cases and problems within the neonatal-perinatal sub-specialty field.
Develops full treatment regimens involving knowledge of new techniques, use ofprolonged or complicated procedures, or advanced and delicate skills.
Serves as a consultant on very difficult cases to other medical practitioners andhealth care providers.
Active physician license awarded by any state.
5 yrs. of residency training in the specialty of the position or equivalent experience and training managing a full range of cases within the neonatal perinatal sub specialty.
Board Certification in Pediatrics is desired, but not required.
Basic Life Support Certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification.
Experience applying neonatal medicine theories and practices to neonatal disease.
