Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School is seeking an Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs . The Assistant Director will report to the Director of Auxiliary Programs and will be responsible for helping to integrate all existing auxiliary programs to maximize operational efficiency. The Assistant Director will also work closely with the After School Program Coordinator to manage logistics related to all after school programing.
HIES is the largest Episcopal Parish day school in the country, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students age three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I-75 and GA 400.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Help manage the operations of Auxiliary Programs to drive enrollment, expand and streamline course offerings and attain profitability targets.
Recruit HIES teachers and staff for STEP HI and Summer Connection programs.
Recruit vendors for STEP HI and Summer Connection programs.
Schedule all STEP HI enrichment programs and Summer connections programs.
Work closely with the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator to manage logistics of all after school programs.
Help supervise program staff members and vendors to ensure that all instructors perform their duties with the highest level of care and professionalism.
Provide vendor and staff evaluation and feedback.
Manage the registration process for prospective enrollees.
Maintain registration database and keep it updated.
Respond to disciplinary issues as needed.
Collaborate with the director and assist in creating digital marketing materials for the auxiliary programs, produce the catalog of summer program offerings, and generate enthusiasm for and promote the program’s success.
Serve as representative of the summer programs at local events, fairs, and festivals.
Assume responsibility for other projects as assigned by the Director of Auxiliary Programs.
Educational and Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
At least 5 years of teaching and/or administrative experience in a school or youth-serving organization
Prior experience with 3rd party Program Management Software and electronic payment systems
Summer program administrative experience is preferable
Successful track record working with a wide range of people
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
High-energy and enthusiastic about working in an academic atmosphere
Proven track record as an independent and goal-oriented team member
