Job Duties: Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, the Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service for guests in the Registrar’s Office. This position will coordinate and participate in the deployment of customer service activities, these activities include service in person, on the telephone, via e-mail, social media, web development and leading the student worker program. The Customer Service Coordinator will also assist in the processing of over 2,000 transfer and reentry credit evaluations annually in an office environment that emphasizes timely customer service. Finally, this position will also serve as the primary supervisor for work study students in the office.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of computer skills with demonstrated experience using student information systems (or other relational database systems), MS Office, and Documented Imaging Software
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment
Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, leadership, decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work individually and in a team setting
An orientation to and strong skill set in a student service/customer support environment
Thorough understanding or ability to learn the Registrar’s Office role within the University
Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and in writing
Three years of experience working in a college/university registrar's office or in an office with parallel functions.
Experience evaluating and processing transfer credit for a regionally accredited institution.
Demonstrated innovative use of software and technology to achieve efficiencies and goals
Initiative and judgement to make decision with help of supervisor and take appropriate actions
Commitment and experience developing a positive and proactive customer service oriented environment
