The Corporate Partnerships Manager reports directly to the CEPE Director and is responsible for increasing the visibility of non-credit professional development and executive education programs among business leaders, community partners and other external stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for selling custom training services and achieving targeted revenue goals through the acquisition and development of custom training clients. Overall duties will include market research, lead generation, qualification, negotiation, contracting and selling custom solutions, as well as maintaining client accounts.
●Bachelor degree in business, organization development, or related field ●Minimum of 3 years' experience with sales, consulting, or customer relationship building ●Demonstrated project management and client management skills ●Experience in sales or business development, including ability to meet or exceed revenue goals ●Ability to work with leaders at all levels of the organization, across all industries including business, government, non-profit and international organizations ●Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive customer relationships ●Excellent oral and written communication skills particularly in interfacing with C-level personnel ●Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint ●Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate, constructively solve problems, manage conflict and work as part of a high performing team ●Ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. ●Successful completion of a background check
●Graduate degree in business, organization development, or related field ●Experience working in higher education, corporate learning and development, HR, or business services ●Experience designing training programs ●Experience writing client proposals and negotiating contracts ●Contact management database skills, preferably experience with Salesforce ●Working knowledge of the regional business community ●Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results ●Ability to innovate and solve problems ●Agility and flexibility in dealing with a variety of people
