~This position will provide data analysis, computational expertise, and administration support in the areas of job analysis, job evaluation, compensation program administration, performance appraisal, and competency assessment. Based on findings from research and industry best practice, this position will make recommendations and implement approved changes focused on improving the company's total rewards program, specifically in the Compensation area. This position administers several HR systems and is responsible for providing assistance and responses to managers and employees. This position will lead compensation projects, as needed.
~Preparing job descriptions and other job documents, and participating in the Job Evaluation process. Assists in determining appropriate grade assignment for new positions and revised roles. Maintains job evaluation results and tracks position changes.
~Conducting position exemption status evaluations, including attending job analysis interviews, compiling job documents, and coordinating communications, etc.
~Coordinating with departments and HR Business Partners to review job descriptions and update job descriptions in the HRIS system. Assists in job analysis process.
~Participating in compensation surveys, including matching positions, computing compensation data for manager's review, and submitting survey data. This position also assists in collecting and consolidating market data from various survey reports and then conducting analysis.
~Providing data analysis that supports salary recommendations for new hires, internal promotions, etc. Maintains job offer recommendations datasheets.
~Annual salary increase process and bonus program, including the creation of customized spreadsheets for department, coordinating employee communications and compensation planning system administration.
~Entering and maintaining salary data in the SAP system on a regular basis.
~Administering Performance Appraisal System, running status reports, and tracking process progress of each appraisal phase, i.e., annual goal setting, mid-year goal review, and year-end evaluation. Monitors inquiries from users and provides prompt assistance to employees and managers. Identifies issues in appraisal/assessment processes and system, and makes recommendations for improvements. Provides assistance to program-related training sessions.
~Administering Competency Assessment process. This position will check employees’ competency assignments to ensure data has been updated correctly, and run status reports regularly. Monitor inquiries from system users and provide prompt assistance to employees and managers. Provide assistance to program related-training sessions.
~ Leading annual Total Rewards Statement project, including the collection of data from various sources, verification of data accuracy, coordination with vendor to manage the project and deliver statements for employees' use.
~ Leading Total Rewards benchmarking processes, conducts deep analysis on Hyundai's compensation, benefits, performance appraisal and other programs, and provides recommendations to improve the competitiveness of the company's total rewards programs.
~ Providing support to Non-qualified Deferred Compensation plan administration.
~ Documenting compensation procedures and processes and seek opportunities to streamline and improve these processes to make administration more timely and efficient.
~Assisting team members with a variety of reporting needs and special projects.
~Working with IT to develop new compensation systems and/or implement system improvements.
~ Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, at a minimum.
~ Degree in HR Management, Finance, Business or related discipline preferred.
~ Five to seven years of progressive experience, of which at least four years are in a Compensation capacity.
~ Strong analytical skills; comprehensive understanding of, and advanced professional skills in, Compensation are must-haves for this position.
~ Experience with SAP is preferred.

~ Excellent analytical skills and statistics knowledge are a must.
~ Advanced spreadsheet and databases skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
~ Superior problem-solving skills.
~ Ability to interface with senior levels of management.
~ Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
~ CCP, PHR and/or SPHR certifications (or in the process of completing one of the above certifications) a plus.
