The Account Manager will report directly to the CDF- Portfolio & Account Management Leader. The role will be responsible for managing assigned dealer accounts and assisting in the on-boarding of new customers and vendors. Key role for communication with vendors relating to Account Management processes and operating systems. Additionally the role will be responsible for managing KYC / AML procedures in relation to new dealers and investors.
The role is a 6 month contract and will be based in Singapore.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Ensuring accounts assigned are being monitored and managed in accordance with CDF's proprietary portfolio control policies and procedures.
Managing quality of control and records in operating systems (AIMS) for Dealers in CDF Asia USD.
Carrying out rigorous reviews of work-queues and initiating appropriate follow-up activity. Contacting assigned dealers seeking timely resolution of early-stage issues such as past due payments & account performance concerns.
Ensuring action and closure rates on workflow items for assigned accounts to you are maintained in line with expected and regularly measured standards.
Escalation of issues and concerns to management on a timely and thoughtful basis.
Supporting existing customers with additional requirements such as credit line increases.
Supporting existing customers with dispute resolution & account queries such as invoice / payment reconciliation, refund or waiver requests & direction on how to use COMS to access & manage their account.
Taking the key responsibility for communication with vendors relating to operating systems, portfolio controls, payment process, new dealer on-boarding process, etc.
Managing KYC/AML procedures in relation to new dealers and investors and supporting CDF AML Leader.
Supporting the New Business teams with the on-boarding of new customers providing training on Wells Fargo account practice and systems including COMS.
Setting up of new accounts in AIMS.
Setting and monitoring portfolio reporting processes in relation to participation agreements.
Requesting assigned customers to provide certain other information from time to time such as (but not limited to) up to date evidence of Inventory Insurance or Financial data / accounts.
Controlling delinquency monitoring processes.
Leading ad-hoc projects assigned by Portfolio & Account Management Leader.
3+ years of proven experience in Account Management, Collections / Portfolio Control, Operations, Finance preferably in a fast moving commercial finance environment. Able to lead a project with limited guidance.

Multi-skilled and versatile with ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work proactively to solve problems and work independently.
Able to work under tight schedules to a high quality and consistently meet objectives.

Fluency in English. One of local languages in Asia is plus.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs.
Understand products/services offered.
Work within the framework of company regulations e.g. data protection, ensuring compliance at all times.
Ability to stay abreast of market and portfolio trends and industry best practices.
Risk / Operations Management / Finance experience in a leasing/ financial services environment.
Bachelor, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business or other tertiary qualification in related business discipline.
English + additional language in Asia (preferably Mandarin)
