This candidate will be part of a 40 person team made up of 6 - 7 Senior Analysts, along with Project Managers, Teradata and Web Developers, Data Modelers, DBAs, and Report Analysts. This candidate will be working with the customers (Michigan Department of Health and Human Services) gathering requirements for various projects; utilizing the standard SUITE methodology; creating detailed design specifications and then following the project through implementation. This candidate will analyze entity relationship diagrams, file specifications, and physical or logical database data models to create detailed ETL mappings, Web API designs or business intelligence report specifications. This candidate will also perform data analysis, data cleansing, test data creation, and data verification as part of design and testing activities. The candidate will create the testing documents and matrixes, and will be responsible for assisting the customer with user testing. They will also be responsible for helping the technical and business teams with project-related formal documentation. They will meet with users for clarification and elaboration as may be necessary to clearly define a problem and conceptualize a development plan.
