The Senior Data Governance Analyst will be on the BI, Analytics & Reporting (BAR) project team, working closely with the Data Governance & Policy Lead, as part of a larger team implementing Workday Enterprise solution to meet the needs of the university, health system, and other entities.
As a member of the BAR team, this position will advise and assist the Business Process teams, the Conversion team and business units to inventory and measure both data cleansing activities and quality improvements across Workday tenants. This position will catalogue datasets within the Reporting and Analytics Environment (RAE), working with the Data Warehouse team to capture data lineage for RAE components and monitor associated data quality metrics for those datasets. This position will serve as system administrator for data governance technical tools and support development and administration of a data stewardship program.
This resource will work with multiple tools within the Enterprise Project including, but not limited to, Workday, Tableau and Data Cookbook but will also need to use existing PeopleSoft data and related tools to measure data quality improvements within the current system in preparation for the Workday implementation.
Bachelor’s degree; 5-7 years of experience as a business analyst or data analyst working with a variety of groups to collect, aggregate and report on enterprise system data; senior-level knowledge of data query and manipulation tools such as SQL, PS query, SAS or equivalent; significant experience in business intelligence tools and dashboard development; excellent communication skills, detail-oriented and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; demonstrated knowledge of data analytics systems, data extracts, data formats, and data transformation.
Experience working in a higher education environment; experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Finance and Student; experience with Tableau; demonstrated knowledge of data governance principles.
Target Salary: $74,283.00 - $90,791.00 Annually
