Using your skills, you will resolve Data Integrity and Access Issues within SQL Server Database and will focus on optimizing the database for data access efficiency and accuracy as well as building advanced ETL and Analysis Services solutions. This will be a hands-on position and a lead role in high visibility projects. Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. You must be self directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines. In this position you will be producing some individual work as well as manage a team of report developers to assist you in meeting customer needs. Required Qualifications:BA / BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or High School Diploma / GED and 8+ years of equivalent experience5+ years of SQL / TSQL Development experience3+ years of experience with Data Modeling (Star / Snowflake), ETL construction with advanced job scheduling3+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development3+ years of recent experience in a customer facing role leading and managing projects, including requirements and documentation3+ years of experience relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse3+ years designing reporting databases / data warehousesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AccessExpert level of programming and troubleshooting knowledge Preferred Qualifications:Advanced SQL Analysis Services (2008+) Experience (knowledge of Kimball methodologies)Intermediate level of experience with SSRSDashboard Construction & Concepts (Tableau, SSRS, etc.) experienceTableau - MDX coding experienceWindows Server 2008 / 2012 experienceKnowledge with other database systems (Oracle / DB2 / Hadoop) Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
