Determines consistency with organization's objectives and standards through various verification procedures and methods. Ensures all regulatory compliance requirements are met, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Supports SOX compliance processes by planning and providing employee training on SOX awareness programs.Primary Responsibilities: Serving a primary lead on audits performed by our clients and regulatory/government agenciesWorking with internal business partners and government auditors Determine the appropriate scope, timing and logistics of the auditsPrepare audit requests for documentation or data universes as requiredDeveloping a consistent audit process to ensure all outside audits are effectively managedAnalyzing the root cause of issues and aiding in development of appropriate action plansActively engaged in process improvement projectsProviding reporting to management Providing updated statuses on audits assigned Creating audit documentationAssisting in or leading various special projects as directed by the Manager of Government Programs Audit Support
Requirements:Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma / GED with 3+ years claims processing experience 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel - creating, updating spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables2+ years of experience with Claims Processing and / or Medicare Part D Operations Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlinesTravel as required (less than 10%) Assets:1+ years of experience with Medicare Part D Regulatory GuidanceOptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
