You will create process design, project implementation, diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions. You will also provide quality reporting, analysis, audits, and develop plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement. (sm)Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute and deliver a high quality program to build the capacity of affordable housing and care options to support medically complex, vulnerable, and housing challenged myConnections membersProvide technical assistance to myConnections team to support the development of innovative programs. This includes defining the initial project, planning, site visits to view existing programs, brokering partnerships, understand and incorporating existing referral processes, financial analysis, building internal support for projects, and other areas as neededInitiation and development of relationships and collaboration strategies with the housing-focused community and care based organizations to identify new and existing opportunities for accessing resourcesCollaboration with state agencies, community organizations and other social service agencies to promote and grow housing and complex care opportunities within the city, county, and/or regionWork in a team approach to engaging community leaders, services providers, affordable housing landlords to develop and advocate for programming that supports creating innovative collaborations to connect individuals to complex care housing optionsImplement and oversee reporting systems and other tracking tools to demonstrate program performance as neededFoster collaboration between myConnections and local partners to build support and capacity for affordable or supportive housingConvene and facilitate meetings focused on identifying and implementing strategies to increase connecting individuals to affordable and supportive housing optionsRepresent myConnections in internal and public forums including public presentations and meetings with external partners and stakeholdersDiagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, Social Services or related field 4+ year of experience in low income/ supportive housing development, and/or housing operations, housing-based supportive services4+ years of leadership experience including developing external partnerships, relationship development, working in a team, or other similar leadership experience2+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlinesLocated in work from home office in Detroit area.Preferred QualificationsProven ability to build collaborative relationships, work with colleagues and external audiences and partner in areas of system change, housing development/operations, the delivery of supportive service developmentAbility to take initiative to implement projects and pursue goals with moderate supervision.Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate clearly and simply, coupled with a strong creative sensibility and ability to think strategicallyPrevious Healthcare Industry experience, public medical assistance (Medicaid or Medicare)Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and skills in data analysis and managementCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
