<p>The After Deployment: Adaptive Parenting Tools (ADAPT) for Active Duty study, at the University of Minnesota, College of Education and Human Development has a Temporary/Casual Office Support Assistant position open for qualified individual. This position assists the Site Coordinator, primarily performing basic office and administrative tasks and other supporting duties as needed. This position is for 14 hours per week or less and is located at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington.<br /><br /><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br />Assessment scheduling and preparation (50%)</p><ul><li>Assist scheduling in-home assessments; send appointment confirmations and web link for survey completion</li><li>Copy and assemble assessment packets and gather other materials for in-home assessments.</li><li>Help create family information documents, track family information, maintain records, and update data spreadsheets</li><li>Distribute subject payments to families after completion of assessment</li><li>Uploads assessment data to the network after assessments are compete and reviewed by Site Coordinator</li><li>Record and document mileage for assessment travel</li><li>Maintain assessment kits, technical equipment, and other assessment related study materials</li></ul><p><br />Intervention preparation (20%)</p><ul><li>Prepare in-person group materials</li><li>Assist site coordinator with inputting participant information into the portal.</li><li>Distribute subject payments based on attendance and homework completion (as tracked and reported by facilitators to site coordinator)</li><li>Enter in-person group evaluations into Qualtrics after intervention is completed.</li></ul><p><br />Recruitment support (15%)</p><ul><li>Assists in maintaining a list of key contacts and potential participants.</li><li>Assists in the tracking of contact made to key contacts, military and community agencies and potential participants.</li><li>Sends recruiting information (posters, flyers, contact information) to military and community contacts as determined by Project Manager.</li><li>Sends general marketing emails to military and community contacts and eligible participants as determined by the Site Coordinator.</li><li>Copies and assembles recruitment materials and prepares materials for events.</li></ul><p><br />Communication (15%)</p><ul><li>Communicate effectively with Site Coordinator to ensure appropriate prioritization of tasks</li><li>Contact subject families when necessary for follow-up</li><li>Connect with subject families once assessments are completed and keep them up to date on study assignment and process</li></ul>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED and one year of office/clerical experience. Training/education may substitute for some of the experience.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office, email, database systems and customer service experience</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Willingness to adjust work hours to accommodate study needs (i.e. evenings and/or weekends).</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with military families</li><li>Experience working on research projects</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to adhere to administrative and procedural guidelines</li><li>Ability to multi-task</li></ul>
