Directs the Colorado College Internship Program (CCIP) and leads a successful summer internship program that connects exceptional internship opportunities with top talent.
Recruit nationally known (primarily for-profit and government) organizations to participate in CCIP as site hosts; meeting with prospective organizations, gauging their viability, and securing program participation; creating memos of understanding to confirm expectations with participating organizations; and providing ongoing direction, communication, and support for recruited organizations.
Direct all aspects of the CCIP student application, interview, selection process, including creation of recruitment materials; planning and facilitating information sessions; managing application submissions and deadlines; distributing application materials to interviewers; scheduling interviews; and advising and supporting Colorado College student applicants as they move through the process.
Bachelor degree plus a minimum of five years of experience recruiting college/university students for large organizations with deep knowledge of employer/campus relationships; experience working with an internship program plus developing and conducting program assessments; prior experience in creating strategic programs and communication plans; budget management experience; proficient with MS Office Suite and internet applications plus experience with web-site development; ability to lead, train and develop CCIP volunteers; excellent relationship management and persuasion skills; exceptional interpersonal, oral and business writing communication skills, including a confident telephone presence; sound decision-making skills, hands-on work style; strong creative, prioritizing, problem-solving, and presentation skills; demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team; self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and goal achievement; flexibility to manage a high volume travel schedule during the months of April-August; Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that is insurable by Colorado College's motor vehicle insurance carrier.
Master's degree; experience managing an internship program, MBA career services or recruitment experience with a Fortune 500 employer; experience communicating with "C-Suite" executives.
