Take this opportunity to start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Management and oversight of all nurses and nursing care provided by the nursing staff Will be involved in the initial staffing for this new site including training, orientation, developing and managing a professional and support staff Assists the General Manager and VP Nursing in ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring operations and reporting and initiating changes where required and directed Serves as clinical resource to field staff, exercising considerable judgment, problem solving skills, and professional knowledge Oversees the receipt, evaluation, acceptance and execution of the initial patient intake process to assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching, and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner Manages employees through establishing performance goals, allocating resources and reviewing policies for the department. Including but not limited to performance evaluations, field supervisory visits, and performance management counseling Assures that all patient related documentation, and clinical and departmental reports, are accurately completed, submitted, and / or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process Participates in planning, decision making, and implementation of all branch office activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multidisciplinary team Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility and budget participation through improvement and innovation Maintains all applicable internal, professional, local, state, federal licensures, certifications, and employment requirements, as required of staff department Assures departmental understanding, implementation and compliance with all aspects of the company's Performance Improvement Program. Including but not limited to completion of quality reports, reviewing quality data, researching employee / patient grievances, participation in branch emergencies (actual and drills)
Required Qualifications:Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Pennsylvania2+ years of nursing management experience Clinical leadership in home infusion therapy 3+ years RN experience in a nursing specialty, i.e. oncology, IV, infusion therapy or critical care Able to work with an interdisciplinary team of professionals including clinical, pharmacy, nurses, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, outside nursing agencies, patients, families and caregivers Ability to travel as required daily in the PA / NJ / DE areaKnowledgeable regarding Joint Commission compliance, regulatory, performance improvement and state / federal requirements / regulations Preferred Qualifications:BS degree in nursing or higher2+ years' experience as a registered nurse in home health care or home infusion Experience with acute and chronic infusion therapies Experience running an ambulatory infusion suite Relationships with home health agencies Familiar with PA / NJ / DE state nursing laws with regard to home health licensure Experience hiring and training nurse staff Experience with nurse staffing processesCareers with BriovaRx.
