The Forensic Mental Health Counselor provides professional mental health forensic services including screening, counseling, crisis intervention and continuing care services. This eligibility list generated from this recruitment will be used to fill full-time permanent, part-time permanent, limited term, and extra help vacancies for up to twelve months. Being bilingual in Spanish is preferred for this vacancy, but is not required.
The Child Protective Services Worker I class is the entry into the professional Child Protective Services Worker series and is designed to develop the professional skills of persons with a Master's in Social Work, but who have minimal social work experience. Employees at this level perform casework requiring a higher-level expertise and knowledge of social service techniques. There is currently several vacancies in the Child Welfare Services (CWS) Division of the Health and Human Services Agency, however, this list may be used to fill Child Protective Services Worker I vacancies for up to twelve months. It may be preferred that some vacancies are filled with candidates who are bilingual Spanish, based on the needs of the CWS division. The eligibility list established from this recruitment will fill a vacancy in the Mental Health Division of the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency. The position provides bilingual (Spanish) services within the Mental Health Full Service Partnership (AFSP) Program. The AFSP Program targets services to Napa County's underserved population, especially the mentally ill homeless.
