Provides overall leadership and direction for the UTD International Center, including programmatic and operational planning, fiscal and budget management (including budget development, monitoring and assurance of meeting targets), personnel management; ensures efficient operation for the Center's mission; understands and ensures compliance with all regulations that pertain to the International Center; develops international collaborations and programs; provides leadership and oversight for global engagement, cultural immersion programs and other intercultural initiatives; ensures timely and accurate adherence to immigration and reporting functions for international students, including US government mandated SEVIS reporting.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with ten years of work experience in higher education or related field.
Preferred Education and Experience
Master’s degree in related field with 11-15 years of experience. Candidates with experience at the Director/Manager level in higher education are preferred. Experience with immigration management software (i.e SEVIS, fsaAtlas); and Sunapsis case management software.
