Immediate opportunity for a service oriented professional who will support the Technical Education Manager and ITCL programs by coordinating job development, employer relations, hiring events and other placement activities for agency clients
Maintain database of agency job leads, including uploading new leads received by the business development team, updating leads as they change, and deleting inactive leads.
Match existing clients to agency job leads and sending their resume to the business development contact.
Coordinate hiring events including reserving room space, printing documents, and facilitating the day of event logistics.
Support hiring events by searching state employment database for qualified candidates.
Contact employers to schedule appointments for managers
Utilize external job databases, websites and social media, research external employment opportunities appropriate for Able clients.
Organize marketing materials and supplies for the business development team.
Coordinate information for the weekly job email.
Update the business development database and job board with new company contacts, status, and referral candidates.
Schedules and confirms potential student attendance at information sessions
Attend job fairs and other events to speak with interested candidates about the IT Career Lab Program
Provide support to recruitment staff with regard to applicable paperwork needed to onboard new students
Place 20-30 follow up calls (per week) to potential students
Be able to provide tours of the office and facilitate class audits for prospective clients
Must be able to type 50 WPM
Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products with an emphasis on Outlook
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA and other related technical certifications and technologies preferred
Experience serving as an organizational resource to prospective clients and/or students
Experience working with individuals from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds
Experience using multiple lead generation sources, and cold calling individuals
Excellent communication and organization abilities
High attention to detail, ability to follow directions meet deadlines and consistent, reliable follow- through.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel); familiarity with sharepoint databases a plus.
Strong internet abilities to research employment opportunities utilizing external job databases, websites and social media sites.
Creative self-starter who will take initiative and work independently to achieve results, but can also collaborate and contribute positively to team efforts.
Strong service-orientation and interpersonal skills to develop rapport and work successfully with a diverse population of clients, co-workers, potential employers, and other external agencies

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 -2 years' administrative experience ideally within an employment and/or business development organization/department.
