Responsibilities of this positon include developing and maintaining letter templates in an enterprise letter generation library. You will apply company format standards to ensure consistency across the enterprise library. You will leverage the functionality of a dynamic letter generation tool to minimize inventory, reduce duplication, and automate letter generation wherever possible. This is an important position in the department because Clinical Letters are necessary to ensure Utilization Management (UM) decisions are communicated to members, providers, and facilities within legal and regulatory defined timeframes from when UM decisions are rendered. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Understand and follow standardized processes for managing add or change requests, and implementing requests in the letter generation systemCollaborate with other Letter Maintenance Administrators regarding letter template design and developmentDevelop new templates and / or change templates for approved letter requests Leverage functionality of the letter generation tool to reuse templates and variable text where appropriate Thoroughly test additions / changes and present completed templates to business owners for acceptance and sign-offPromote tested letter templates to productionCommunicate changes to end usersAnalyze inventory and identify opportunities to streamline, decommission, combine, etc.Summarize results / recommendations and present findings to manager
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or 3 additional years of work experience3+ years of business analysis experience that includes some experience gathering requirements for a software solution3+ years of experience with applications where logic statements are applied to solve business rules (MS Access, Crystal Reports, ETL tools, etc)Intermediate or higher proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of Utilization Management (UM) program / processUnderstanding of software development lifecycleDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of an organizationExcellent attention to detail, time management, organizational, and prioritization skillsProven ability to build relationships across the company with key stakeholdersAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced and rapidly changing environmentExcellent interpersonal skills .Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
