Primary Responsibilities:Work with other architects to design and deploy high performance data warehouse and analytic systems which adhere to the strictest standards of security Use your knowledge of frequently employed government security controls to work with auditors and other risk and compliance personnel to come up with cost effective and secure solutions that meet ever changing and more extensive security requirements
Required Qualifications:BS degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience working with data warehousing or analytics systems 7+ years of information security and technology management experience (experience and understanding of all security domains) 10+ years of IT experience (server/desktop hardware & software, networking, storage, disaster recovery, and backup/restore) 5+ years of working knowledge of networking, application, database, infrastructure and/or server administration 5+ years of working knowledge of security management tools and applications, such as, Qualys, LogRhythm, Symantec, Barracuda, Parity, Tufin, and Splunk 2+ years of experience with of HIPAA and other security controls commonly employed in health care IT deployments such as NIST 800-53, MARS-E 2.0, IRS 1075, and FISMA 2+ years of experience with of audits types and security controls typically employed in government IT domains such as SSAE 16, SOC 2 Type 2, SOX, PCI, etc. 2+ years of Experience with VMWare and managing and deploying virtual environments Ability to travel up to 25% of the time on a sporadic basisPreferred Qualifications:BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and/or MIS MBA in MIS or another advanced degree in a technical domain such as computer science, statistics and mathematics 5+ years of experience in the health care domain Experience with infrastructure architecture and design and data center architecture including disaster recovery Microsoft Project experience Ability to analyze system metrics to monitor and improve performance Knowledge with multiple operating systems, such as, Windows, Linux, etc. Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite of tools in facilitating written communication and communication with team members, stakeholders, end users Global Information Assurance Certificate such as GIAC Information Security Professional, Systems Security Certified Practitioner, ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor, ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent Experience in IT project management including costing, scheduling, coordination of multiple teams from project inception through QA and UAT to customer acceptance Experience in oral communication in a variety of situations such as interacting with the user community (e.g. State staff, vendors, and Data Center staff), making presentations, facilitating meetings and walkthroughs, and user training Architect level knowledge of business intelligence tools and ETL tools Conversant in data warehousing concepts (e.g. Kimball, Inmon) Understanding of AWS, Azure, and other cloud offeringsCareers with Optum.
