The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, School of Medicine and Puget Sound VA Medical Center are recruiting a full-time Electrophysiologist to primarily be based at the VA Medical Center. The successful applicant will be appointed at full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the University of Washington at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level (without tenure due to funding) commensurate with qualifications. This is a 12-month, multi-year appointment. UW is a national leader in the care of sudden cardiac death patients and device management. The successful candidate should have excellent clinical training in all aspects of electrophysiology and ability to build relationships at the VA Medical Center and take advantage of the outstanding opportunities for collaboration at the University of Washington.
Applicants must have an MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology (or foreign equivalent). Any U.S. citizen may apply. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
