Position : NM Technologist
Assist in quality control of Nuclear Medicine equipment and radionuclides.
Order radiopharmaceuticals and/or supplies needed for the efficient running of the department.
Maintains adequate records of radioisotope receipts, usage, storage and disposal in accordance with State and Federal regulations governing the accountability for radioactive materials,
Maintains other records as directed.
Performs daily duties in accordance with State and Federal regulations including an understanding regarding the State Department of Health, N.R.C. and N.J. D.P.A. rules and regulation.
Responsible to assist with ICANL Accreditations for CCTR/TRCA sites - Located in Whiting and Toms River
Status : Part Time
Days / Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 20 hours per week. Flexibility to cover others sites as needed.
Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
At least 1 year full-time experience with exposure to all aspects of Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, to include all in-vivo testing, kit preparation and injections.
Must hold a valid State of New Jersey License in Nuclear Medicine and be registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N. M.T.C.B.
