Reports To: Director of Development and Communications
Community Renewal Society is a 135 year-old faith-based organization that informs and brings people of faith and congregations together, in partnership with communities, coalitions, interfaith organizations, and civic leaders, to intentionally and decisively transform society toward greater social justice at the intersection of racism and poverty.
The Database Assistant will provide support to the Web & Data Specialist during our data migration from Salsa Labs CRM to Every Action CRM. This position is a 2½ month temporary position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carrying out data cleansing and de-duping
Segmenting list and building reports
Integrating data forms with the website
Researching supporter information
High level of attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with data
Knowledge and understanding of database design principles
Strong ability to interpret, analyze and present data
Previous experience with Salsa Labs or Every Action a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to speak, read and write English with high proficiency. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Work may require walking or standing to a significant degree, including ascending and descending stairs. Work requires expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, including imparting oral information to constituents, co-workers and the public. Work requires the ability to be able to hear and receive detailed information through oral communication. Work requires vision approximating 20/20 either naturally or through correction with lenses and a reasonable field of vision.
Work environment includes occasional exposure to weather. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a part-time temporary position. Hours are 9:30 am. - 2:30 p.m. (flexible) weekdays.
