Manage the design and implementation of a complex curriculum development project for the Heritage College of Osteopathic medicine. Manage projects to scope, budget and schedule as well as any repercussions of variances. Manages resources, knowledge, and talent required for planning, sets timelines and related accountabilities, builds internal and external relationships and consensus, and provides detailed project management. Plan, track, and follow-up on the many subprojects incorporated within the greater complex project. Communicate of the importance and accountability to project deadlines. Review project progress for alignment to the needs, objectives, goals, and governing standards as appropriate. Set and maintain project momentum. Works collaboratively with internal constituents and outside vendor to ensure that the project needs are being properly identified, tracked and planned from a scheduling and resourcing perspective.
-Provide project management oversight. Prioritize multiple sub-projects of various sizes simultaneously. -Lead project schedule and overall communications. Prepare all necessary documentation for accreditation, university and college approvals, and student and faculty documentation for implementation of the new curriculum (syllabi, web resources, manuals, etc.) -Conduct research for related to educational strategy, standard operating procedures and policies associated with the curriculum design and implementation. Assist in updating necessary documentation. -Coordinate training for faculty and students (faculty development sessions, pilot programs, orientation sessions, etc.)
-Bachelor’s degree -3 years of work related experience -3 years of supervisory or managerial responsibilities -Must be able to resolve conflict and work toward collaboration and build effective teams -Must be organized and superior follow-through -Experience with mid-to-large scale project coordination/management involving internal and external constituents.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the bachelor’s degree requirement.
