CORPORATE DERIVATIVES The GS Corporate Derivatives desk helps US corporations and financial sponsors address macro market exposures - e.g. interest rates, foreign exchange and commodities. Typical client dialogue relates to managing risk on the back of M&A, financing and / or other strategic initiatives, along with day-to-day exposures. The GS Corporate Derivatives desk is part of the Financing Group within the Investment Banking Division and works closely with Capital Markets and Classic Investment Banking to educate clients and develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree with strong GPA and robust extracurricular activities
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
Must be detail-oriented and a multi-tasker
Keen interest in the financial markets and good commercial instincts
Strong combination of organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to interact and build relationships with people of varied backgrounds, personalities and levels of seniority
Some relevant internship experience preferred
