The EMEA Human Resources Governance Group (HRGG) is responsible for oversight of: HR Policy, HR Risk, HR Governance and Regulatory Affairs, and HR Operations. The function oversees the design, development, documentation and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure EMEA's compliance with HR related regulatory accountabilities. The HRGG supports the implementation of these processes and leads related HR regulatory initiatives by working in partnership with the appropriate subject matter experts within each HR functional group. The respective subject matter experts are responsible for ongoing execution of the processes and procedures within their function. The HRGG will monitor and report on the effectiveness of HR policies, processes and procedures, assess potential risk, and make recommendations to mitigate risk and ensure ongoing compliance with the changing regulatory environment. Responsibility for all remuneration policies and procedures continues to be owned by the EMEA HR Products group.
Ensure compliance with remuneration regulation in UK and EMEA by understanding regulatory changes and working with subject matter experts to develop and implement remuneration policies and processes as required.
Work with relevant subject matter experts to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies as required.
Maintain and update relevant remuneration policies and procedures, particularly in the context of Brexit.
Represent HR on internal cross-divisional teams and working groups regarding remuneration regulation to share best practices, address issues and plan for future changes, as well as with external groups (interbank councils, industry roundtables).
Ensure robust documentation of key processes and procedures and appropriate communication and training to relevant audiences within HR.
Skills required (essential)
Knowledge of the existing UK, Germany, France, Ireland and broader EMEA regulatory remuneration environment preferred.
HR knowledge/experience preferred.
Compliance, regulatory or consulting experience preferred.
Financial services experience preferred.
Experience interpreting regulation and incorporating into the relevant HR policies and procedures.
Project management skills – managing complex projects across functions and with multiple stakeholders and competing timeframes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills - ability to represent HR function and influence at all levels and businesses of the Firm.
