The representative manages subrogation files, negotiates settlements, and ensures adherence to compliance policies.Primary Responsibilities:Investigate, recover, and resolve all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entitiesInitiate phone calls to members, providers, and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefitsInvestigate and pursue recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file managementProcess recovery on claimsEnsure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies, and contract compliancePerform other duties as assignedIndependently handles a team of 20-30 associates. Formulates business and developmental goals for his team Drive the fulfillment of performance metricsAccurate and timely documentation of claims dataEnsure accurate and timely delivery of data to Team Liaison Build and maintain an effective Team environment Build and maintain effective relationships with internal customers (i.e. Team Liaison, US Team Leads/Supervisors, Managers and Directors etc.)Coordinate with the Team to identify process improvement opportunitiesMonitor, measure and report Team performance metrics and implement Team incentive programs Identify training needs for the team deliver and facilitate trainingsProvide updates to management on individual and group training results, therefore facilitating further improvement in training methodology/content/methodsPartner with leadership to promote department revenue and business objectivesAnalyze and identify error trends and opportunities for defect reductionAnalyze and develop overall improvement plans (department and individual)Administrative responsibilities as assigned Handles sensitive information appropriately (HIPAA) and acts in a fair and honest manner consistent with the company-s code of conduct Identify trends and issues and recommend solutions
