Examples include multi-LOB provider contracts, Optum-UHC-provider collaborations and partnerships, and total cost of care initiativesPartner with UHN leaders to solve business needs, including delivering improvements to create process efficiencies across the UHN teamProactively lead and drive enhancements to financial models to address evolving business needs with the development of new tool and processesDrive modeling and valuation for innovative and complex provider partnershipsDrive consensus and clarity around value and strategy, working with LOB Finance and P&L teams where needed in order to make optimal enterprise decisionsSupport M&A and business development transactions from UHN perspectivePartner with the Healthcare Economics and UHN organization to understand the full picture of negotiations for material, large contractsPartner with Healthcare Economics for ongoing process improvement around key UHN deliverablesCreate and manages the resource governance process to drive most ROI from UHN capital and people resources
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field4+ years of experience in a strategy, corp development or finance teamRelevant experience in financial modeling, including statistical analysis, working with uncertainty based models, large data setsAdvanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology toolsAbility to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areasPreferred: Qualifications:Healthcare experience, OR Generalist associates, EMs from top-tier consulting firms and investment banksDeep strategy development and economic modeling experience Additional experience in strategy development preferredCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
