And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Clinic Education Coordinator will present previously developed programs to contracted Providers in supporting MSLA's national contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Primary Responsibilities:Inquire if providers have the tools they need to meet quality objectives as a participant in the MSLA provider network. Insure that they understand the need and use of the tools.Ensure providers have in understanding of MSLA MDE protocols as stipulated by the VA contractAssist the Providers in applying the developed systems approach to assist providers in learning, including but not limited to web-based tutorials, interactive PowerPoint presentations, audio and video vignettesServe as a centralized POC for providers and connects providers to insure that learning is centralized and monitoredServe as a centralized POC for providers and connects providers to the appropriate parties for resolution to concernsIn collaboration with the clinical team, suggest improvement solutions, including review of training or other activities to ensure learning transfer occurs and performance gaps are met, including needs assessments and skills analysisBuilds collaborative partnerships with peers, Medical Professional Providers, and MSLA medical professional managers and leadsCoaches, provides feedback and serves as a resource to providers for technical issues or refers to the clinical team for further trainingWork on ad-hoc projects and events
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentFamiliar with using power point power, and using graphicsProficient computer skills familiarity (able to be trained) in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, ExcelExperience in time managementPreferred Qualifications:Works with moderate guidance; seeks guidance/clarification to insure task completion Associate's degree or experience in related field or equivalent work experienceSolid knowledge of adult learning requirementsAble to work independently, and in conjunction with team members at all levels of the organizationAbility to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and operate with the utmost integrity and discretion Excellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of commonly used training and education concepts, practices, and procedures for small and large groups Proficient telephone skillsSelf-motivatedProficient in general computer use and Microsoft Office SuiteIf the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
