National Jewish Health is currently seeking a Director, Human Research Protection Program to be responsible for the direction and administrative oversight of all core components of the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and the Animal Welfare Program. The HRPP Director will oversee the facilitation and support of research reviewed by the internal IRB (Institutional Review Board), external IRBs, and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) including the development and implementation of program goals and objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Seven (7) years of experience in Human Research Protection Program. Five (5) years of experience leading the work of others required. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state privacy laws. Working knowledge of good clinical/research practices and standards. Prior Biomedical or Social and Behavior research experience preferred.
Special Training, Certification or Licensure
Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or other appropriate certification as a research professional strongly preferred.
