E-Learning Management Consultant, Employee & Organizational Development

This position is primarily responsible for consultation with UT departments and campuses on eLearning programs, with specific emphasis on statewide compliance training and employee development initiatives. In addition to offering eLearning consulting to department leaders, this position designs and develops eLearning course and curriculum for EOD and for UT departments and campuses; advises departments on eLearning best practices and quality standards; uses K@TE learning management system to publish, house, promote, and disseminate eLearning programs; promotes and provides specialized training and learning events to university employees statewide; researches, designs, delivers, and revises training programs; leads and implements select training curricula, including curriculum research, development, and delivery; plans, coordinates, and manages key eLearning programs integrated from other sources, such as third-party content, templates, customizable courseware, graphics, images, etc.; consults with departments to develop and deliver customized training solutions that involve eLearning options; evaluates training needs and makes recommendations for fulfillment and curricula; and provides other essential training-related and HRD functions as needed.
Consults with departmental leaders across UT campuses in the design, development, publishing, management, and support of online training programs, to ensure quality and consistency. Priority focus is on statewide compliance training and HR system initiatives, followed by high-demand learning needs for just-in-time supervisor/manager/leadership development.
Research, design, develop, and deliver select eLearning courses and curriculum, in consultation with campus department leaders and EOD Executive Director, which includes but not limited to supervisory and leadership development, select compliance requirements, and system-wide HR policy support.
Plan, coordinate, and manage upgrades and integration matters related to K@TE, UT's learning management system, as well as Skillsoft, eLearning Brothers, Lynda.com and other third-party eLearning content providers. Interact with and support K@TE Governance Committee and OIT/IRIS support Teams in the technical support of K@TE users.
