The Conveyance Specialist organizes and conducts a variety of work related to wastewater and storm water conveyance systems, inflow and infiltration identification and removal, FOG (Fats, Oils, Grease) inspections, illicit discharges, and public education. The person in this position will also assist with the operations and maintenance activities of the wastewater collection system, storm water detention & water quality systems, and various other duties in the Public Works Maintenance Division.
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, operation, and maintenance of wastewater and storm water conveyance systems. Previous FOG and/or industrial pretreatment program experience, preferred. Any satisfactory combination of experience, training or education which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and/or abilities necessary to perform the essential job duties and responsibilities may be considered.
