The individual will also work in a lead capacity and work directly with other departments to develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures. Primary Responsibilities:Serves in a leadership capacity, formulating and implementing systems, process, and minor projects Serves as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for approaches, procedures, and implementation of Cybersecurity systems Oversees the day to day operations and administration of Cybersecurity systems ensuring continuity of service. Duties include, but are not limited to: system health monitoring, patching, upgrades, roadmap development, feature/function development and implementation, capacity and lifecycle management Oversees the monitoring and security incident response, offering expertise to ensure prompt and effective resolution Mentors and coaches Cybersecurity individuals to provide guidance and expertise, promoting continued integration of technological advances to further enhance security Develops, collaborates, and oversees innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems, risk mitigation, and incident resolution at all levels (Director, Manager, Architects, Teams, and Customers)
Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Ability to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization Ability to obtain and keep required (government and other) security clearances Ability to work hours mirroring the hours of teammates typically 7/9AM – 4/6PM CST Availability to work on-call and non-standard hours when necessary Minimum 5 years IT experience (5+ preferred) IT Infrastructure experience (Non App Dev experience - i.e. Operations, System Administration, Desktop & Helpdesk, Network, IT Technician, other applicable experience) Cybersecurity Support Experience (Firewall, Proxy, Threat, Network Forensic, Threat, SEIM or like technology administrative or support experience) Linux support experience Experience working for or closely with Government Agencies Must be able to work in Plymouth, MN office. Relocation will not be offered Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with SEIM, Data Loss Protection, Deep Packet Inspection, Network Forensic, Behavioral Analytics, Next Generation Firewall, or like Cybersecurity technologies Familiar with AGILE and or KANBAN methodologies Fundamental understanding of IT networking (OSI models and application in the context of Cybersecurity) Fundamental understanding of Cybersecurity practices Cybersecurity Certifications: Security +, CISSP, or like certificationTechnology Careers with Optum.
