Under the direction of officials charged with the responsibility for security and safety of the persons and plant of the Barnard College, patrol the College building, grounds, and sidewalks to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry and harm to the persons of the College

Required Qualification Summary:
Must possess valid New York State security guard license.
Ability to speak, write and read English and follow written or oral instructions.
Must be physically capable of detaining or apprehending unauthorized persons.
Experience as firefighter, police officer or guard is desirable.
Must possess valid New York State driver's license. Exception to this requirement can only be made with written approval of the Executive Director of Public Safety.
