Direct and oversee field education program operations across campuses; lead ongoing strategic planning efforts for field education to ensure the college employs best practices for social work’s signature pedagogy; supervise field education coordinators, contract field liaisons and co-instructors regarding scheduling, performance, student issues and best practices; oversee processes for field grade assignments and student performance issues. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Field Education and in consultation with the Program Directors and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, ensure the field education program, including course syllabi, remains relevant and up-to-date; engage in outreach and collaborative efforts with community agencies to ensure availability of quality field placement agencies to meet the needs of student enrollment and development of innovative field placement opportunities; lead the Field Advisory Committee and hold regular meetings as required by college governance policy; ensure Field operations remain in compliance with accreditation requirements established by the Council on Social Work Education; provide reports on Field Operations as needed by college leadership; provide leadership and guidance around professional development to field education staff.
Master’s Degree in Social Work; equivalent credential to LISW; prior supervisory experience; excellent communication skills; experience with all Microsoft Office products.
LISW-S; some clinical experience; experience as a field instructor, liaison and/or education coordinator.
Compensation dependent on experience.
Target Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annually
