Leading NYC Behavioral Health Agency is seeking a Vice President, Residential Services to oversee a continuum of congregate and scatter-site housing programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring that programs deliver high quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services;
Ensuring that programs deliver services in compliance with all applicable standards, regulations, with approved scopes of work and within budget;
Verifying that services are organized and structured to meet programmatic goals and objectives;
Supporting recipients’ achievement of their goals and aspirations;
Supporting resident self-determination and involvement within the program, with their families and in the community;
Tracking the progress of programs’ required outcomes.
Working with residence managers to improve program operations through a process of continuous quality improvement;
Ensuring that program staff meet all regulatory requirements and comprehend and comply with best practices, professional standards, and internal policies and procedures.
Developing staff skills, abilities and capacities through training and support;
Responding to incidents and events in assigned programs, as needed
Participating in departmental, agency-wide and external committees and workgroups
Performing other duties as directed.
Masters in Social Work or related field, license strongly preferred. 5+ years in OMH, DOHMH funded supportive housing for adults with SPMI and co-occurring disorders; commitment to Trauma Informed services; clear understanding of OMH regulations governing licensed housing; excellent English language skills; both verbal and written. Knowledge of AWARDS a plus.
