Assistant or Associate Professor - Tenure Track Department of Social Work
Teach undergraduate courses of 12 hours per semester as assigned
Conduct research in area(s) of expertise
Support departmental and university service
Academic advising of students
Earned Doctorate (ABD will be considered for assistant professor) in Social Work (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university)
Minimum of two years full-time post-MSW social work experience
Experience teaching at the college/university level as a graduate assistant or instructor for assistant professor rank or as an assistant professor or above for associate professor rank
Experience or interest in teaching across the curriculum
Demonstrated an ability to engage in research with potential for external funding (Clearly articulated and established research agenda for associate professor rank)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community (advising, organization, training, boards, leadership)
Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multicultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
