Reporting to the Executive Director of Campaign Advancement, the Director of Prospect Management and Research will be responsible for defining, implementing and managing the process for researching, assigning and tracking donors and prospects to ensure maximum function of gift officers’ portfolios and ultimately to build a strong prospect pipeline for The Campaign for Barnard. The Director of Prospect Management and Research will oversee a Research Analyst and will be responsible for coordinating all research requests from within the department and from leadership, developing methods to improve prospect data integrity and evaluating and selecting research resources. This position will also work closely with the Executive Director of Individual Giving to administer efficient prospect management systems and reports.

Required Qualification Summary:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
Minimum 7 years of experience designing and delivering prospect research, metrics reporting, and data analysis in an advancement/development work environment
Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience
Demonstrated computer skills, particularly with relational databases and programs within Microsoft Office. Mastery of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
