The Family Transitional Research Group (FTRG) is a dynamic research group housed within the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care at New York University College of Dentistry. The FTRG seeks a full time faculty on a non-tenure track position to join a large research group conducting research on family functioning and implementation of empirically-supported practices.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in psychology or related field. Successful candidate must have a strong background in family maltreatment (both partner and child) observational assessment of family functioning, survey methodology and light touch prevention approaches. Must have familiarity with military setting and systems. A background in health psychology and healthcare provider communications. Must be able to teach these topics to students. Experienced successfully managing large teams of research staff including people working at different sites. Ability to manage large and complex budgets. Experienced working with large and diverse faculty to direct programs to facilitate student professional development. Must have strong understanding of analytic methods, a strong background in grant writing and a proven track record of successful funding and publishing peer reviewed papers.
Additional Salary Information: Salary and benefits are highly competitive. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
