The Head of Credit Risk Management will be responsible for managing the Credit Risk Management Department overseeing the different functions including strategy formulation, credit policy governance, credit approval, portfolio management and credit administration. The jobholder will formulate, implement and maintain credit risk management policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and the bank's risk appetites. The incumbent will ensure daily work of the department runs smoothly and timely in response to dynamic business requirements and will supervise the department to ensure all activities in related areas are compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder (those with professional qualifications are preferred) with at least 15 years' experience in the banking industry with at least 5 years gained at a senior supervisory level. Applicants will need extensive knowledge of risk management and risk governance of the local and PRC markets, excellent analytical skills, constant awareness of current market conditions and industry best practices and be passionate about leadership with willingness to mentor and develop professional staff. Candidates will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and spoken fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
