Summary: The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Oversee and team with Accounting Staff to ensure Company personnel adhere to organization’s policies and procedures, including addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial, or Business Administration
5-10 years experience in all aspects of accounting, including 5+ in a professional services environment; familiarity with Federal and State Government clients preferred.
Expert knowledge of spreadsheet software; proficiency with accounting software, preferably Deltek Vision.
