This includes developing, implementing and overseeing product and service development standards within a highly regulated and specialized customer group. Aligns the organization's EAP philosophy and product strategy to meet customer needs and drives best - in - class innovation and consistency in the delivery of EAP services. Anticipates department's future needs in all areas of responsibility and strategies with EAP and Prevention leadership as well as with other stakeholders regarding methods, processes and systems to meet ongoing performance standards and demands of business growth. Works in collaboration with Growth, Operations, IT, Marketing, etc., to drive new product development and service innovations that improve both top - line and bottom line performance. Primary Responsibilities:Lead and oversee product development and management including creation, development, and implementation of innovative solutions driven by trends, customer needs and ongoing operational needs for large, complex and strategic business opportunities with new and existing customers within a niche Federal / Military marketSecondary product accountabilities for B2B strategy and market expansion of existing product portfolioServe as a representative for product development on solutions building team for bids. Identify and account for impacts to downstream profitability and resource needsGuide and champion account management for significantly large customer populations and contracts within the Military and Federal market. Accountable to integrate regulatory requirements into our business operations and product offeringsOversee budget, ROI, including direct and indirect costs, and product line profitabilityLead the strategic direction and implementation of this new customer marketBuild relationships with key matrix partners and execute product delivery to ensure alignment with Optum & UHG business units to achieve seamless execution and service deliveryDirectly responsible for creating efficiency and eliminating waste from the systemReview product performance against expectations and facilitate or influence changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performancePartner with the Growth Office to source, research and analyze the market and understand the Federal / Military market size, segments, prospects and buyers Oversee performance metrics, management data and accurate revenue targets within product
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing or related field) or equivalent experience5 + years of experience in the management, development and marketing of customer product programs, preferable experience with Governmental / Military client groups or regulatory environmentSupervisory experience, participative management and teaming building experience and capabilityDemonstrated ability to lead change, effectively identifying and managing key stakeholders for successful change effortsAbility to effectively foster and manage key customer relationships, engaging strategically to build partnerships and deliver innovative solutionsDemonstrated consulting experience with customers on wellbeing or related product, procedures and operational effectivenessAbility to work effectively with all levels of management, human resources, employee relations and business organizationsExperience working with clinical care systemsAbility to travel Preferred Qualifications:MBAEAP ExperienceCareers with Optum.
