Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior IT System Analyst Consultant for our Basking Ridge, New Jersey location responsible for system analysis and architecture design for bulk load and enhancement activities for the current and future system development; creating detailed design specifications including service models and message schemas; developing detailed source to target data mapping and data transformation rules; and acting as liaison between business and systems analysts, developers and project management groups as well as working collaboratively with business partners, subject matter experts, develops, and testers to ensure a shared understanding of business requirements. Provide support to quality assurance on development of test approaches; provide support to applications development through participation in design reviews and use Agile/Waterfall methodologies for software development; perform gap analysis of identified data elements and new structure; present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution; define, use communicate design patterns and best practices in service orientation analysis, design, and development; and develop strategies to improve service development life cycle, governance processes, and adhere to company regulations. Plan and manage assignments of varying scope; provide a broad business approach; act as a resource to senior leadership; and develop pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends. Use Healthcare Data Processing: HL7, Claims – 835/7, HIE; Healthcare Industry Standards: ICD 9/0, CPT4, NDC, NPI; and EMR Systems and Portal interactions. Use Erwin, Oracle, SQL Server, Autosys, Unix, SQL Server x.x, Unix, HL7-2.5, Datastage, NextGen Applications – CLU, Import Wizard, Rosetta (HL7 interface), BizTalk – (835/837 integration), Design tools – EA, Visio, Modelling – Erwin, profiling – GlobalID, Agile – Rally, Systinet Certification, Layer 7 security, OSE. Domestic travel required 25% of the time for PI planning.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer, Science Engineering, or related field. 5 years related, progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Will accept experience gained concurrently. Must have demonstrated experience with each of the following: 1) Erwin, Oracle, SQL Server, Autosys, Unix; 2) Use Agile/Waterfall methodologies for software development; 3) Healthcare Data Processing: HL7, Claims – 835/7, HIE; 4) Healthcare Industry Standards: ICD 9/0, CPT4, NDC, NPI; and 5) EMR Systems and Portal interactions. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment. Domestic travel required 25% of the time for PI planning.
